Central Library plans approved

Liverpool City Council has approved the restoration of the city’s Central Library. Inspire Partnership, the design, construction and facilities management team appointed to the £50m PFI scheme, is now working towards financial close with the aim of starting on-site this summer.

The project includes the restoration of Grade ll-listed parts of the building, the replacement of facilities from the 1950s and 1970s and the provision of archiving facilities.
