Wirral waterfront revamp plans to go on show
The £10m plans cover a 6.5km stretch of Wirral coastline
Six plans to regenerate part of the Wirral's coastline have been drawn up and are to go on show at a public meeting later in the week.
The Mersey Coastal Park Strategy is a £10m initiative designed to breathe new life into 6.5km of land between Rock Ferry and Eastham Country Park.
The schemes include a 100 berth marina to host national and international sailing events on the River Mersey.
The meeting on Friday at 1700 GMT is at the Bromborough Civic Centre.
The other projects involve Rock Park Conservation Area and Esplanade, Shorefields Community Park, Newlands 2 Bromborough landfill site, Wirral International Business Park and Eastham Country Park.
