We expect the event to be oversubscribed, so please click here to book no later than 29th February. Please email international@liverpoolvision.co.uk if you have any access or dietary requirements. We will then confirm your place and provide you with details of parking and access information.

IT’S LIVERPOOL IN CHINA NETWORK

The network has been developed in response to the extraordinary success of the Shanghai EXPO because it is vital the momentum is maintained.

Hundreds of businesses across the region are doing millions of pounds of business in China. The economic potential in terms of inward investment is huge and, through this network, some of it can be harnessed.

Through the network member businesses can access special events designed to help them explore and maximise trading opportunities in China, connect with other organisations, as well as access information, advice and news.

The network was launched on 6 July 2011. Further events and activities are planned throughout 2012.

The latest ‘It’s Liverpool in China networking event took place on the 25th January 2012 at Hill Dickinson. Guests heard from leading Hill Dickinson Patents Attorney, Bruce Jones, who shared his experience of the legal issues surrounding intellectual property for UK businesses wishing to expand in China. He was joined by Nick Farr, Partner and Head of the China Britain Services Group at Grant Thornton LLP who highlighted some of the key tax considerations for those looking to do business in China. Jessica Zhang from the China Britain Business council also hosted a session, exploring Chinese business culture. To see images from the event watch the Flickr stream below.
