Liverpool Mutual Homes takes 16,000 sq ft at Stonebridge Park
Regeneration specialist St Modwen has secured a 16,000 sq ft letting at Stonebridge Park, in north Liverpool.
Housing association Liverpool Mutual Homes has taken an industrial unit at the 30-acre business park, located on the East Lancs Road, just off Junction 4 of the M57.
St Modwen developed the 57,500 sq ft scheme in partnership with Liverpool Vision, Government Office Northwest and the Northwest Development Agency.
Shortly after completion, it sold a 16,000 sq ft warehouse unit to Croxteth-based training provider Neighbourhood Services Company (NSC) for just over £1m.
The letting to LMH means that only two 13,000 sq ft industrial/warehouse units remain available through joint agents King Sturge and Mathews and Goodman.
Michael Hosie, development manager at St Modwen, said: “Stonebridge’s excellent location on a main route into Liverpool and its superb landscaping and water features mean it offers a high-quality business environment which is also well served by local amenities.
“We are offering occupiers extremely attractive deals at the moment, and are delighted to welcome LMH to the site.”
Stonebridge Park has achieved a BREEAM rating of “very good”, thanks to its green credentials which include extensive use of A-rated building materials, a dual fuel heating system and efficient building design, resulting in a 34% reduction in CO² emissions.
And a tree planting programme across the site has transformed a one-mile stretch of one of the main arterial routes serving Liverpool into a green corridor.
