Liverpool Central Station to open on 22 October 2012

It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for! Time to reveal just how much I’ve grown, the improvements I’ve made and to welcome you all back.

On the 22nd of October the Northern Line platforms open their doors, completing the final phase of the £20 million refurbishment of Liverpool Central. You will experience the improved platform areas, new Northern Line escalators and the transformed concourse area complete with new glass wall, public waiting areas, toilet facilities and ticket gates.
Until the 22nd of October the rail replacement bus is still in operation.
The transformation is almost complete.
