Knowledge Quarter Strategic Investment Framework
Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter is set to be more widely promoted as an excellent location for businesses engaged in the Knowledge Economy.
A Strategic Investment Framework for the area has recently been completed. Building on the 2007 Knowledge Quarter Prospectus the “SIF’s” delivery plan identifies actions related to provision of further knowledge targeted commercial floorspace, investment in infrastructure to address power and high speed broadband, improvements to physical connectivity and enhanced business support and networking opportunities.
Responsibility for delivery of the SIF’s recommendations is being co-ordinated by Liverpool Vision and is shared by the key landowners and institutions in the area - the three Universities, the Royal Hospital, Liverpool Science Park and Liverpool City Council.
