The launch will take place on Thursday 20th October 2011 at 8.20am at Blackburne House .The launch will be lead by keynote speaker Phil Wolstencroft from Jaguar Land Rover, who will take to the stage to discuss the issues their own organisation faces and the tools they use to overcome them.
Alongside this, some of the leading figures in the UK will act as expert witnesses as they form a panel and take questions on ways of becoming a responsible environmental and social organisation. These expert witnesses include Keith Packer, Bernie Budworth and Ben Donnelly.
It’s time to engage; the 80-20 Foundation will provide the vehicle to assist business and organisations alike to develop, improve, embed and showcase their responsible business credentials. The 80-20 Foundation is powered by Groundwork Merseyside; a Merseyside only initiative, which will directly benefit the local community.
The objective of the 80-20 Foundation is to encourage the practice of responsible businesses and to recognise that the very real threat of Climate Change is no longer an option. It’s time to act; and those businesses and organisations that appreciate and plan for these changes will experience the significant positive benefits and commercial advantages and will be the winners of the future.
Tony Seasman, Marketing Manager said;
“The 80-20 Foundation helps members to be successful both for their own interests and for their wider community. We are delighted that businesses such as Jaguar Land Rover, Typhoo, QVC and award winning Elixir Foundations, are supporting the launch.”
