Almost 80 jobs will be created with the opening of two new hotels in the city centre next month.
Budget hotels chains Premier Inn and Travelodge are recruiting 56 and 23 staff respectively for their new developments.
A Premier Inn will open on December 3, in Hanover Street, while Travelodge opens its latest site at around the same time.
Sharon Higham, general manager of the 182-room Premier Inn Liverpool, said: “Premier Inn is proud to be a part of Liverpool."
Travelodge’s 125-room Liverpool Central Exchange Street hotel is situated on the corner of Exchange Street East and Tithebarn Street.
Converted from former office space, the hotel will open in early December and is aimed at business travellers visiting the city.
Jon Hendry Pickup, Travelodge chief operating officer, said: “These new jobs are for the long-term, not just for Christmas.
“Travelodge offers a comprehensive training and development programme so that our people can build a successful career.”
