This gives the restaurants the option to discount their tables in form or auction lots without effecting their walk in trade.

The site also offer restauranteurs a free venue listings and gives the users to the option to purchase discounted meals at selected restaurants.

The site will be in BETA testing around the North West before a national rollout. Auction Hospitality has already signed up the likes of Gusto & The Black House Grill’s (Living Ventures) Alma de Cuba & The Noble House (PAX Leisure) and the London Carriage Work amongst other venue for their test launch.

Auction Hospitality’s Paul Newman said “It’s been a very busy nine months of development and we know this is only the beginning with BETA launch of AuctionTables.com. As a company we’re very open to feedback which is why we’re doing the public testing in the North West because it means we can meet and interact with our users to get their comments. It’s also important to be hands on with the venues as this is something new to them and we’ll be there to help them market their restaurants online.“

Tim Bacon, managing director of Living Ventures, added: "This industry is all about engaging the customer and AuctionTables.com does this in an innovative and creative way, without resorting to the usual desperate methods of discounting."
