Liverpool Innovation Park
In addition to the major road and environmental improvements there are also a range of development sites along the Edge Lane corridor (use the interactive map below to find out more) aimed at creating job opportunities for local people.
Work is now complete on Liverpool Innovation Park (the former MTL bus depot) which is one of the most important development sites outside the city centre. The site - owned by Space NorthWest will be a development of high quality buildings set within a landscaped environment that links the established and successful Wavertree Technology Park to Edge Lane.
Liverpool Vision are working with the City Council to bring the imposing art deco former Littlewoods building back into use.
Liverpool Innovation Park on the former Marconi site offers opportunities for new and refurbished buildings for science, information and communications technology and knowledge-based businesses.

The Edge Lane Project will also see retail improvements including the extension and remodelling of Edge Lane Retail Park.
The Villa Site is 0.14 hectare (0.36 acres) site located on the north side of Edge Lane at its junction with Alford Street immediately opposite Liverpool Innovation Park. The site is owned by the Northwest Regional Development Agency.
